Professor Tiina Andersen

Respiratory physiotherapist and professor, leading the research of using mechanical assisted cough in ALS/MNDs. She has extensive clinical experience of mechanically assisted cough and secretion management, bridging clinical practice and physiological studies to improve the respiratory care of persons with neuromuscular disorders. Currently working at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences with education of physiotherapy students, research and leading the Norwegian Advisory Unit for Inducible Laryngeal Obstruction (ILO), located at Haukeland University Hospital, Bergen, Norway.
