Thank you to all those who submitted an abstract to the 34th International Symposium on ALS/MND. All presenting authors have now been contacted and notified of the Programme Committee’s decision. If you have not received this email, please contact abstracts@mndassociation.org.
If you have been allocated an oral, poster or WIP/CP poster presentation please make sure you have registered for the Symposium. Please note if you are presenting at the Symposium you must register to attend in-person. If you have not registered yet please do as soon as possible.
Further information on allocated sessions will be available in the coming weeks.
For Poster Presenters
In the poster hall, poster boards will be provided. You will be able to mount your using poster hangers. The poster board surface area is 220 cm (height) x 121 cm (width). We recommend size A0 for all posters (841 x 1189mm; size E by American National Standards Institute) in a portrait orientation.

Your place among the poster boards will be indicated by the poster reference listed in your title and also available in the programme. This information will be available as we approach the Symposium.
Virtual Poster Hall
We also ask that all in-person poster presenters upload their poster (as a PDF) to the virtual Poster hall for our online delegates. The virtual Poster hall (with your poster PDF and abstract) will be available for the duration of the event and up to 3 months after the event for registered delegates to view. There will be no dedicated poster session, but virtual delegates will be able to leave questions and comments for author(s) to come back to during or after the event.
The Poster Submission portal will open soon and we ask that this PDF is uploaded to our Poster Submission portal by date 15 November 2023. More information on this coming soon.

If there has been a change of presenting author, please notify us at abstracts@mndassociation.org, as soon as possible.
If you would like to withdraw your abstract, please email abstracts@mndassociation.org by Wednesday 30 August 2023. Due to publishing deadlines, abstracts withdrawn after this date will still be published in the Symposium supplement and on the MND Association website.
