Professor Raul Muresan
Transylvanian Institute of Neuroscience, Romania
Raul C. Mureșan is a neuroscientist and computer scientist working at the intersection of systems neuroscience, AI, and neurotechnology. He studies cortical circuits and the functional role of neural oscillations. He pioneered influential methods for neural signal analysis, including Superlets and the Oscillation Score, and develops biologically inspired AI and brain–computer interface technologies. He is co-founder and CEO of Intelimensa, which develops ultra-fast non-invasive BCIs for ALS and paralysis, and co-founder and president of the Transylvanian Institute of Neuroscience. He also co-founded the Transylvanian Experimental Neuroscience Summer School (TENSS), an internationally recognized neuroscience training program.
