Crystal Jing Jing Yeo, MB BChir (Distinction, Cantab), PhD (Cantab), FRCP (London), is a Consultant Neurologist at the National Neuroscience Institute, Singapore, and Principal Investigator of the Translational Neuromuscular Medicine Laboratory at A*STAR. She completed her medical degree and PhD at the University of Cambridge, where she is a Newnham Associate, followed by neurology residency and neuromuscular fellowship training in the United States. Her research focuses on ALS and SMA, integrating artificial intelligence, multi-omics, biomarkers, and human disease models to advance precision medicine. Dr Yeo is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen, serves on committees of the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM), and is a member of the Editorial Board of Muscle & Nerve. She received the 2025 AANEM Surinderjit Singh Award and the 2026 AANEM Scientific Impact Award for her contributions to neuromuscular research.
