Dr. Jonathan Glass is a clinician-scientist specializing in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). At the Emory ALS Center, Dr. Glass leads translational research integrating clinical data, genomics, and proteomics to uncover disease mechanisms and guide therapy development. He served as principal investigator for the Neuralstem stem cell clinical trial, one of the first-in-human studies of spinal cord stem cell transplantation in ALS. His work spans biomarker discovery, natural history studies, and precision medicine. Dr. Glass has secured major federal and foundation support, mentors junior investigators, and collaborates widely to accelerate ALS research and improve patient care.
