Symposium content will be available to view on-demand until 10 March 2022. On-demand viewing up to this date will be eligible for CME/CPD credits.

Delegates’ session attendance will be monitored in the platform. 

Royal College of Physicians (RCP)

The 32nd International Symposium on ALS/MND has been approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 14 category 1 (external) CPD credit(s). 

How to claim

All delegates will receive a general attendance certificate by email at the end of the event, which can be used to claim CME/CPD credits from the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom.

For those registering post-event to view content on-demand, you will receive your certificate no later than 14 March 2022.

The European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®)

The 32nd International Symposium on ALS/MND, Northampton, United Kingdom, 07/12/2021- 10/12/2021 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 10 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. 

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities. 

UEMS EPS

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

How to claim

The CME/CPD certificate used to claim CME/CPD credits from EACCME will be available after completing the online evaluation and credit claiming procedure.

Before 10 March 2022:

  1. Follow this link (We recommend using the following browsers: Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Opera.)
  2. Complete the anonymous online evaluation.             Please note the evaluation will be available for completion at the end of the final day of the Symposium (Friday 10 December).
  3. Complete the credit claim form and submit.
  4. The CME/CPD certificate will be sent to you by email; please retain for your personal records.                        Please note it may take approx. 10 min for you to receive this email.
