During the Event
On each morning of the symposium, you will receive a reminder that will contain information on how to login into the virtual platform. It is a good idea to log on 30 minutes or so before the first session, on your first day of logging in, so you can get familiar with the platform, view the ePoster hall and connect with your fellow delegates.
Yes! We have additional Industry sponsored and parallel sessions happening at the same time as our main sessions. Please review the programme to see all of the sessions available, so you can choose which to attend. Don't worry about missing out on any of the sessions, as all will be available to watch on-demand once they have aired.
Don't worry if you miss a session as all of the sessions will be available to watch on-demand the day after they aired until 8 March 2023.
We encourage you to ask questions throughout the sessions using the 'Live Q&A' section within each individual session. Questions will be moderated before being placed into the queue. The session hosts will then ask the presenters during the 'Discussion and Questions' section of each session. We will endeavor to answer all of the questions, but this is time dependent.
At the Virtual Symposium, posters are available to view on-demand in the ePoster Hall so delegates can "virtually wander around" at any time during the event. Here, each poster was supported with a ‘lightning explainer’ video by the authors to summarise their research within 3 minutes, as well as their poster PDF and abstract as handouts, to allow work to be shared in an easily digestible format.
You can also take part in the Live Poster Sessions which give presenting authors the opportunity to discuss their work live with small groups of delegates.
We do not usually supply certification of poster presentations. Please use the confirmation of poster acceptance email should you require proof of this.
If you experience technical difficulties during the Symposium please use the red 'Support' button in the top right-hand side of the virtual platform. Our team will be on hand to help troubleshoot any technical difficulties you may be having.
Some issues can be solved by adjusting the settings of your camera or microphone. This can be done in the by clicking on your profile picture in the top right-hand corner (next to the 'Help' button) and going into 'My Settings'.

For ePoster Presenters
All ePosters have been linked to the presenting author's account. This means that presenters will be able to access their ePoster through their unique platform link/log in. When presenters click ‘View my Presentation’ through the ePoster hall or the Live Poster Session, it will show 'Presenter View'. This is where presenters will be able to see any questions that have been asked and view their ePoster documents such as their abstract and poster PDF. Unfortunately, presenters will not be able to view their own lightning explainer videos but don't worry - these have all been checked by our Symposium team to ensure they are working on the platform.
To get a better idea of how our Live Poster Sessions will work for presenters, take a look at this video.
