The 31st International Symposium on ALS/MND will be held virtually on 9-11 December 2020.
Recognising that multiple time zones will be involved, the virtual meeting will be delivered over three shortened days, scheduled around the GMT / EDT working day, with additional material available before and after the ‘live’ event.
PLATFORM PRESENTATIONS
To showcase, discuss and share the latest information on ALS/MND from around the world, the virtual event will feature ‘platform’ presentations from invited plenary speakers focusing on basic science, clinical research and disease management, as well as updates on clinical trials.
ePOSTERS
As well as the scheduled Live Poster Sessions for poster authors to network and discuss their research live with small groups of delegates, there will be an ePoster Hall available throughout the meeting to preview ePosters. Here delegates can watch ‘lightning explainer’ videos of each ePoster, view poster PDF handouts, read author bios and abstracts of each poster.
NETWORKING
As in previous years, there will be plenty of opportunities to catch-up with colleagues, network with fellow delegates and members from industry in our virtual meeting. You will be able to do this through participation in live Q&As and discussions, polling, breakout sessions, and connecting with others in the Meeting Hub to live chat, call, or schedule meetings.
