Sharon Abrahams, Ph.D, D.Clin.Psy, Professor of Neuropsychology and Clinical Neuropsychologist University of Edinburgh, is a founding member of the Euan MacDonald Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Research. She has over 150 research publications with an H index of 54. She is Associate Editor of the journal Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and Frontotemporal Degeneration. Her research focuses on cognitive, behavioural, psychiatric and cerebral changes in ALS and neurodegenerative disease. She developed the Edinburgh Cognitive and Behavioural ALS Screen (ECAS) with T. Bak and J. Newton now routinely used internationally, translated into 24 languages and incorporated as an outcome measure in clinical trials.
