"Improving patient reported outcome measures in ALS/MND"

Professor Young has been Principal Investigator for over 100 trials and currently leads the TONiC study. She has written over 180 papers in MS, MND and rehabilitation and co-authored several guidelines. She was a member of NICE Technology Assessment Committee D for several years.

Professor Young is on the UK Specialist Register for Neurology and the European Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She has considerable experience disseminating evidence-based medicine guidance and is an international editor for both the Cochrane Multiple Sclerosis and Rare Diseases of the Central Nervous System Editorial Board and the Cochrane Neuromuscular Disease Group.
