For ePoster Presenters

Thank you to everyone who submitted a poster abstract for the Virtual 32nd International Symposium! All abstract submissions have now been reviewed and corresponding authors should have been notified with your abstract decision.

All accepted poster corresponding authors have been emailed their poster reference and link to their poster submission portal.

Next steps...

The Poster Submission Portal is now open! Please submit your poster PDF and video URL (max 3 minutes) to your submission portal by 4 November 2021.

You can be as creative as you want with your video to explain your poster, using any style and format you wish. Please read our Poster Submission Guidelines for instructions on how to submit these documents, with some hints and tips to help you create them. We have used Microsoft PowerPoint as an example to create the video presentation in these guidelines but you are free to use other platforms.

We advise that you begin your video recording and upload well in advance of the deadline to ensure that any difficulties can be resolved in time. If your poster PDF and video is not received by this deadline, your poster will be considered as no-shows and the abstract will be removed from the ePoster Hall.

Live Poster Session

There will also be a live poster session held on each day of the virtual event which will allow you to present a short presentation to a group of attendees live (up to 50 attendees at a time). Attendees can see you and your virtual poster on your screen, which can be a slide/image. Ideally, you would be presenting information from a single slide (poster), just like a regular live poster presentation.

Please watch the 'Poster Presenter explainer video' to familiarise yourself with the presenter layout on our virtual platform this year.

Each poster will be allocated one session to present in:

  • Poster Session A will be held on Tuesday 7 December at 16:50 – 18:20 GMT (1250 – 1420 EST  |  0150 - 0320  JST)
  • Poster Session B will be held on Wednesday 8 December at 12:15 – 13:45 GMT (0815 – 0945 EST  |  2115 - 2245 JST)
  • Poster Session C will be held on Thursday 9 December at  16:50– 18:20 GMT (1250 – 1420 EST  |  0150 - 0310 JST)
  • Poster Session D will be held on Friday 10 December at 12:15 – 13:45 GMT (0815 – 0945 EST  |  2115 - 2245 JST)

Presenters are required to be available in their slot to discuss their work with attendees during their allocated session. The corresponding author of each poster will be sent their allocated session after the poster submission deadline has passed. Please ensure the correct presenter is assigned to each poster and that they are register to attend the Symposium.
